Nanophotonics, Plasmonics, and Nanoelectronics

This division conducts research on nanoscale photonic devices, plasmonics and metallic materials for sensors and imaging, laser and plasma applications in nanophotonics, nanoelectronics (transistors, non-volatile memories, logic circuits), nano-optoelectronics (LEDs, lasers, modulators), nanostructures for quantum computing (qubits), and development of nanofluidic systems for fluid transport control at the nanoscale.
