The National Research Center for Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (CRNN) is a specialized scientific institution responsible for implementing research and technological development programs in the field of nanosciences and nanotechnologies. It is located within the Abdelhafid Ihaddadene Scientific and Technological Hub in Sidi Abdallah, and represents one of the most dynamic and promising areas within the national scientific research system.
Decree of Establishment:
The center was established under Executive Decree No. 24-323 of 27 Rabie El Aouel 1446, corresponding to October 1, 2024, concerning the creation of the Research Center in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (CRNN).
Mission:
The center’s core mission is to execute scientific research and technological development programs in the field of nanosciences and nanotechnologies.
This field is today considered one of the most promising and rapidly evolving scientific disciplines, due to its vast potential to transform several key sectors such as health, energy, electronics, food security, and materials science.
